Description

The Origin Classic is based on the proven VS4-10 chassis and brings back the original body design from the first Vanquish Products kit. An improved, clipless fastening system is integrated into the molded inner fenders, providing a clean look and quick access. The new inner fenders offer adjustable shock positions with integrated shock towers, a first for the VS4-10 platform. The VFD transmission delivers durable performance with a low, forward-shifted weight distribution. The injection-molded F10 solid axles offer reliable strength and broad compatibility with many optional parts.

Note: The body is delivered unpainted and must be painted by the customer.

VFD transmission

The VFD transmission was developed to offer an optimal balance of performance, scale appearance, stability, and versatile optional accessories. The motor is positioned as far forward and low as possible to place weight where it's most beneficial for handling and traction. The VFD Spec transmission delivers a 6.5% overdrive from the factory for improved turn-in and climbing performance without putting unnecessary strain on the electronics. The T-case utilizes interchangeable bearing plates for adjustable bearing positioning. The modular design of the bearing plates allows for the use of optional gear ratios within the T-case. The VFD transmission is compatible with 540 brushed and brushless motors*.

Inside, the VFD features hardened chromoly shafts, sintered metal gears, and replaceable bearing plates to reinforce critical load points. A slipper eliminator ensures maximum power transfer, while the molded gearbox housing maintains the scale appearance. The extended skid plate provides additional protection for the motor in rough terrain.

F10 rigid axles

The F10 injection-molded plastic rigid axles benefit from Vanquish Products' many years of experience in developing high-quality axles. The molded F10 rigid axles feature a particularly rigid construction with integrated bracing connecting both ends of the axle, as well as oversized C-ends with integrated Panhard rod ends.

chassis

The Vanquish Products VS4-10 chassis offers a balanced combination of scale looks and performance. The steel C-channel frame spars provide scale detail. Molded front and rear crossmembers reinforce the frame spars at high-stress points and offer additional features such as dual servo mounts, winch cable routing, and fuel cell details. The molded rock sliders have replaceable outer sections. The chassis Panhard rod mount is machined from aluminum to withstand hard impacts off-road. The molded inner fenders also serve as adjustable shock towers for the 90mm Incision S8E shocks.

suspension

Equipped with Incision 90mm S8E shocks, the VS4-10 offers smooth articulation with dual O-ring seals, secured spring plates, and polished steel piston rods. The 3-link front axle with Panhard rod keeps the servo hidden for greater scale realism without restricting suspension travel.
