The Mezzo has a varied pin type throughout the tire, making it more suitable for a wider range of track conditions, including long and short hair astro. The pin type provides improved lateral traction while maintaining forward traction.

The Mezzo lasts longer and has better bump handling, thanks to its higher sidewall profile.

The 4WD Mezzo front tire is designed for longer hair astro and lower grip. Pins can be cut to reduce traction if needed.

For 2WD, we still recommend the U6770 Low Profile Cut Stagger combined with the rear Mezzo for extended tire life.

The popular Dart tire might be faster in a single race under certain conditions, but the lifespan is significantly extended with the Mezzo.

Ultimately, the Mezzo is aimed at Astro, with yellow compound for high dry performance, silver for wet, and blue for longer life.
