SMART-COM INTERCOMS (STANDARD) GREY

The Smart-Com system is the result of a close collaboration with many runners, it has been custom designed for RC Racing Sport and for people who need effective hands-free communication.
The Smart-Com wireless headset system consists of a "Master" headset and up to four "Remote" headsets. Smart-Com features enhanced digital wireless technology (DECT) with the DECT Dialog SC14S module to provide you with the ability to communicate clearly in real-time within a range of 300 meters.
The Smart-Com electronic system includes the battery, a charger, and a 0.96-inch LCD screen that are located inside the headset. The system operates with a base station, and the headsets can be programmed in the field.
The Smart-Com headphones allow for simultaneous conversation and two-way voice communication with partners. The flexible microphone arm has a 270° rotation movement and can be easily switched between the left and right sides using an auxiliary switch. The microphone can be muted with a simple upward movement of the boom microphone.
The Smart-Com headphones also include a programmable SmartPit voice alert feature. This function includes the practice mode, timer mode, and race mode. The Start/Pause/Restart operation is controlled by the pit crew using the button on the microphone arm.

Practice mode: lap time feedback with voice instructions to the instructor and the remote headset immediately once the pit crew activates the button on the microphone arm.

2-Timer mode: reminder of a pre-settable timer programmed by the master headset. The timer reminder voice feedback is sent to both the master and the remote headset automatically once it is activated.

3- Race mode: race time and pre-set fuel reminders programmed by the Master Headset. Voice reminders of race time and refueling time will automatically be triggered once the Pit Crew begins the race.

Replaceable lithium battery: The Smart-Com wireless headset comes complete with a rechargeable lithium battery that is installed in the headset. The batteries are lightweight Standard SLB-1137D type. They fully charge in about 1 hour and, once fully charged, allow the headset to function for up to 4 hours. Since they are removable, they can be externally charged with any Standard LP charger and can be changed in seconds.

Internal charger: all Smart-Com headphones are built with an internal charger inside the battery compartment of the headphone and are charged using a USB-C cable with a standard 5V/1A adapter. When each battery reaches full charge, the corresponding LED will change from red to green to indicate that the battery is ready to use. Magnetic cables and adapters are optional accessories. These accessories allow the headphone to quickly connect and detach from the charging cable.

Travel case: A soft case is included to keep the headphone system stored securely. The case is constructed with waterproof nylon and includes internal compartments (including a pocket with a velcro closure for the charger and spare batteries).
