The new Crawler ESC XERUN AXE from HobbyWing with sensors has features never seen before in an ESC. With features like the new FOC technology, professional drag brake, innovative sensor port, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The new sensor technology has changed the feel, performance, and overall adjustability of the new Axe ESC and Motor in a way that some have never experienced. Field-Oriented Control (FOC) is the name of this new technology, and it is something entirely new in the crawler world. This new sensor style allows for extremely precise motor control and detection while maintaining performance and reliability. The ESC is capable of matching the motor RPM to the throttle position under all driving conditions, allowing for better hill climbing and complete control.

The built-in connectivity means just that, the Xerun Axe ESC has integrated Bluetooth so nothing else is needed to access full onboard programming on the ESC, with your smartphone device and the free Hobbywing app you will access all kinds of settings.

The Xerun Axe takes waterproofing to a new level with an IP-67 waterproof rating. The fully sealed ESC combined with a robust heat sink case design ensures the ESC is ready for anything you throw at it. It combines a completely new sensor harness, meaning no additional complicated steps to make your system waterproof.

XERUN AX PROFESSIONAL DRAG BRAKE

The Hobbywing Xerun Axe has a drag brake rate and also a drag brake tuning. This allows crawlers to adjust not only the uphill brake/hold/drag but also how quickly the brake is applied, so when driving at higher speeds there are no sudden jerks or stops when releasing the throttle. INNOVATIVE SENSOR PORT OF XERUN AXE

The Xerun Axe features a completely new sensor harness that is more than just water-resistant, but will absorb all elements, from water to mud and dirt/dust. There is no need for anything additional as it is sealed with an O-ring and uses a screw design to ensure it does not come loose or get exposed to the elements.

The new Hobbywing XeRun AX motors have been specifically adapted to work with the XeRun AX FOC ESC and can only be used with the XeRun AX ESC.

The motor is built with the patented rotor design by Hobbywing "Staggered Pole," making the 4-pole motor have extremely low cogging effect and super small torque ripple. Due to the low cogging effect, the motor has super smooth starting and better low-speed response.

The XeRun AX motor and ESC are connected via a special plug for water sensor, which is water and dust resistant due to the O-ring and screw design.
