But the Coyote is much more than an SCX10 III with a new design. Axial has taken its 1/10 scale platform to another level. Its new oil-filled shocks and shock towers offer greater adjustability. The overdrive gears in the front axle improve maneuverability and climbing ability to overcome obstacles. The new sliders have smooth undersides for better performance and fit to the body. The officially licensed Maxxis Trepador tires and KMC Grenade wheels, with dual-layer open-cell foam inserts, enhance the vehicle's realistic appearance and high-performance off-road capabilities. Additionally, a new battery mount allows it to be placed in front of the transmission, improving weight distribution and balance.

Axial also incorporates a clipless body mounting system for the Pro-Line Coyote body, enhancing the vehicle's aesthetics by eliminating visible clips. The body articulates at the rear and can be completely removed for easy access to the chassis. There are no clips to lose. For optimal trail performance, the body is narrow at the front, with a tapered shape and trimmed at the rear, providing just the right width. If this is your first RC vehicle, the transmitter's throttle limiting feature allows you to learn to control it safely and confidently. With just a flip of a switch, you can limit the maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you feel comfortable driving at full power. Four AA batteries for the transmitter are included.
