Servos are part of the RC system and, therefore, are the foundation of a remote-controlled model.
Connected to the steering system, they convert the movements of the stick or the rotary knob into directional movements of the vehicle. In combustion vehicles, they also act as throttle servos, controlling both the carburetor butterfly and the brake. A servo with insufficient drive capacity has a longer response time and a shorter lifespan under load. Therefore, never skimp on servos! A good servo doesn't have to be expensive, but it makes the model more reliable and lasts for years.
In 1/8 and 1/10 scale RC cars, only standard or low-profile servos are used.
Our "Race Spec" servos are ideal for competition, but they are also fantastic for hobbyists and club drivers.
