Associated RC28R with MiniZ body and tires

Introducing the RC28R Team Associated kit! This compact on-road racing car was designed with the same precision that defines all AREA 51 products. Despite its small size, the RC28R delivers impressive performance and easy assembly. It features a rigid front suspension with springs in the steering knuckle and optional molded upper arms for adjusting camber and toe. The torsion bars (including soft, medium, and hard) eliminate the need for side springs, simplifying setup and enhancing performance where a conventional spring would be ineffective. The battery tray design allows for quick access without interfering with the central shock absorber.

The steel chassis plate ensures a low center of gravity, and the adjustable roll center allows for precise tuning of the chassis roll for optimal track grip. Additional adjustments for pitch, roll, and sag are possible thanks to the threaded aluminum central shock, spring retainers, and side shock tubes. The two-piece rear pod enables quick axle height adjustments using Factory Team carbon fiber spacers. The adjustable servo mount allows for precise and quick tuning of the Ackermann ratio. The RC28R is compact, adjustable, and designed for competition, delivering high performance and fun driving even in the tightest spaces.
