Body JConcepts F2 1/8 truggy (UNPAINTED)

JConcepts introduced a new body during the 2021 ROAR Fuel Nationals for the 1/8 truck division. The F2 body was designed to perform at the highest level using the latest trend of reducing the surface area above the shock tower line, decreasing overall weight while maintaining a sleek silhouette. The JConcepts team, well-versed in Truggy bodies, has developed a successful line of bodies with the Punisher and Finlander designs, each having excelled and peaked during ROAR championship events. For the 2021 event, the team focused on a body concept behind the tower to fit 5 chassis configurations, including Mugen, Team Associated, TLR, HB, and Tekno.

What stands out in the JConcepts body is the raised nose that moves away from the front shock tower. This design and style were chosen over the buggy-style mount to provide a better appearance, a cleaner and more durable fit, and improved overall aerodynamic flow. To mount the F2 body, a carbon fiber adapter is needed along with Team Associated body mounts #81447 or Mugen #MUGE2148 (for MBX8T) to position the front of the body correctly. Each axle has a specific adapter made from carbon fiber that bolts directly to the original tower, and once the body mount (not included) is added, it provides a custom fit and a beautiful finish.

The name F2 came after the team decided to use an existing style from the 1/10 stadium truck body already in the JConcepts lineup. The narrow shape, double top rail cab with internal shutters are undeniable features carried over to the new high-performance Truggy body. The V-shaped rear of the cab is the fit, function, and style of JConcepts from the very beginning, combined with the recessed bed area for a low base shape. A strategically placed wing outlet on the bed transitions to the mounting area.

A prototype of the nose cone was created to fit various trucks and was ultimately secured in a position for protection and performance. Complete the nose piece with the included decal to give the ROAR truggy the required headlight and grille location. The side pods inspired by the Silencer and Finlander shells cover a variety of electric and pipe designs while showcasing the huge chamfer popularized by the JConcepts team. The symmetrical pods end at the main body structure, while the double, recessed side windows maintain their unique low-profile stance and ride height.

The JConcepts body includes a spray film on top of the body, a window mask for quick preparation and painting, and a detailed decal sheet from JConcepts. The product is always backed by JConcepts customer service and support and is developed by professionals with style and authenticity.
