The ProTek glue bands for remote control tires are an affordable and effective way to create a perfect bond between the tire and the wheel. Too often, a faulty bond can ruin a tire and damage the wheel and insert, forcing you to repair the tire or, worse, buy a new set.
These mounting bands are ideal for 1/8 and 1/10 off-road tires, making it easier to glue the tires. The bands apply pressure to the tire and keep the bead firmly pressed into the glue channel of the wheel. This eliminates air gaps between the tire and the wheel and helps create a strong bond. Additionally, the extra-wide band helps apply even pressure across the entire width of the bead. The package includes eight glue bands.
