MXR V3 Ceramic Team Edition Motor + Airmax Filter

This is the .21 Competition Engine with 3 transfers Ultimate MXR v3 Ceramic "Team Edition" with Ultimate Airmax Air Filter. This engine is manufactured by the prestigious Japanese brand O.S. Engines and is also based on their Speed B21 square stroke engine.

Many manufacturers offer break-in services performed on test benches with propellers; the problem is that this system works as a break-in, but it is necessary to perform a track break-in.

At Ultimate Racing, we wanted to take it a step further and offer our customers the opportunity to purchase fully broken-in engines ready to compete without the need for any additional break-in, meaning engines that can be used in the most demanding competitions just as you receive them, straight out of the box.

To ensure quality and that all "Team Edition" engines are equally well broken-in, we have developed a fully monitored break-in bench where temperature, RPM, and break-in time are controlled at all times. The entire break-in process is carried out with the engine perfectly lubricated to minimize load and wear on all parts, significantly increasing its lifespan.

During each phase of the break-in, the engine's resistance torque is also monitored, allowing us to determine the exact moment to finish the break-in, ensuring that all our "Team Edition" engines are perfectly broken-in and ready to compete.

Once the break-in is completed, the engines are disassembled, inspected piece by piece, and reassembled by our competition team, thus ensuring the highest quality of the product that reaches our customers.

In addition to the modifications that the previous version already had, such as the crankshaft, the rear crankcase cover, the engine group, the innovative 6 and 6.5mm FlowMax venturi, and the crankcase to achieve greater power without compromising fuel consumption, the v3 incorporates a new less sensitive high needle for easier tuning.

With this engine, you will have an incredible power curve that provides spectacular usable power at all times. It delivers linear and smooth power at low RPM, making it perform perfectly on bumpy tracks, while also providing great power at mid and high RPM, with excellent feel. It is one of the engines with the best idle on the market.

Highlighted features:

Carburetor: Modified OS21J3 carburetor with needle holder and high needle for more stable operation and more precise tuning.

Crankcase: Same as the v2, where work was done on the crankcase to improve the internal fuel flow, thus achieving an extra boost in power and efficiency.

Filter: All Ultimate MXR v3 include a complete Ultimate Airmax filter set.

Head: The Ultimate MXR v3 is equipped with the same head as its predecessor. This 8-fin head has a very low center of gravity and is designed to direct most of the airflow directly to the spark plug. By cooling the spark plug, we achieve more stable tuning and idle.

Venturi: The MXR incorporates the new 6.5mm FlowMax venturi. With a longer and wider design at the base than standard O.S. venturis. The new geometry improves fluid dynamics, providing extra power and a notable improvement in engine autonomy.

Rear Cover: The usual red crankcase cover of Ultimate engines is made from a bar of Swiss 7075-T6 aluminum and incorporates two larger ducts that improve the engine's fuel flow, increasing power and improving consumption.

Liner and Piston: Based on the solid foundation of the MXS, the Ultimate MXR has been worked on in the engine group and designed a new set where the transfers have been modified to vary the intake and exhaust timings to achieve more power without compromising consumption.

Bearings: The Ultimate MXR v2 uses the original O.S. ceramic rear bearing and a front bearing with steel balls and double cover from Ultimate Racing.
