With the 2026 specification of the MC4 series, Intellect expands its competition range with a dedicated long-lasting short battery. The BT2S6600MC4 Shorty Long Runtime is designed for drivers who demand maximum duration, highly stable voltage, and reliable performance in a compact 2S format.

With a capacity of 6600 mAh, this LiHV short battery offers extended runtime for longer finishes or demanding track layouts without unnecessarily complicating the chassis. The 120 °C discharge rate provides ample energy reserves and delivers powerful acceleration while maintaining high voltage throughout the race. This makes it suitable for both standard and modified categories.

Thanks to modern silicon and graphene cell technology, the battery features very low internal resistance, reduced heat generation, and robust cycle stability. As a LiHV battery, it can be charged up to 4.35 V per cell at a nominal voltage of 7.6 V. This translates to a significant power boost at the start of the race and a consistent power delivery until the finish line.

Charging and storage information: Never store the battery fully charged or discharged. For optimal battery life, we recommend a storage voltage of approximately 3.80 V to 3.85 V per cell. Avoid heat and direct sunlight during storage. A cool, dry place is ideal. The trunk of a heated car is not a suitable place to store LiPo batteries.

To maximize battery life, we recommend charging at 1 °C. Higher charging currents can significantly reduce the lifespan and performance of the cells, as well as affect their balance over time.

Safety note: Always use a proper LiPo safety bag during charging.

Installation recommendations

To avoid unnecessary heat buildup, ensure that the battery is not in direct contact with hot components such as the motor. To further cool the motor and battery, we recommend using a fan.
